They are packaged in a plastic clam-shell that rubs up against the actual metal parts, and because of this made circular scratches all over the cover and drain. There needs to be a protective foam or something to keep these parts protected. I am tired of buying and returning these, so I will look for something else.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this for an acrylic slipper tub. I didn't know (and evidently they didn't know either) that acrylic tubs were much thicker on the bottom than iron tubs. (The water stays hot longer in an acrylic tub.) This extra thickness prevented the drain from reaching through the bottom drain hole and threading into the drain tube. I called and explained and they said to return it and they would call when they found another. Two weeks after they signed for it from UPS I called and they brushed me off and said they would call me when they had it. Two more weeks and still no call, so I called and I asked for a refund. They said okay, and I got one right away from another company.
Eight more phone calls and 6 months later I finally got 80% of my money back (20% restocking fee). They finally got tired of putting up with me.
Baths From the Past has beautiful, good quality products, just hope that everything arrives perfect the first time. If not, you're going to have to wrestle a bear.

I'm not sure about the other reviewers, but the satin nickel finish matched my fixtures perfectly (I was definitely concerned when reading reviews, but happily surprised when I opened the box). I definitely recommend this air gap! It looks great!

(More customer reviews)If you have a Mixet shower assembly and you need a new trim kit, this fits the bill. It's better looking than my old kit and the knob has a nice sturdy feel (assuming you have a good cartridge). The temperature control lever is a bit flimsy but it works. I bought this because mine broke in half. This one should hold for several years at least.
If you are willing to spend a lot of cash on a really good trim kit, think about replacing the assembly with a modern one. That's the better option, but it could be more than ten times the cost depending on your setup.

Moen 100710 Knob Handle Kit, Posi-Temp One-Handle Tub/Shower, With White & Chrome Insert Review

(More customer reviews)A plumber installed a Moen Posi-Temp faucet in my bathroom. Seems to work just fine, but for some reason, the handle breaks every 6-8 months (the inner plastic ring cracks and it can no longer grip the metal stem). The Posi-Temp handle does not seem to work with generic tub faucet knobs, and I cannot always find this in stores. So I now keep a spare in my house at all times. I guess I should just replace the faucet, but a new knob every 8 months is less than a plumber will charger to put in a new one, so I'm relatively happy.

We love the new faucet, but it exposed two holes in the granite countertop. We covered one hole with the soap dispenser and tried to keep a mug on the other hole. But they didn't always stay where they were supposed to, so water always ended up dripping down underneath our kitchen sink.
This simple little product solved our problem. So cheap, so easy. Should have ordered them a year ago!

It works great, and is as simple as: Screw the button into an unused hole in your sink, plug the power module into a standard outlet for your disposal, plug the disposal into the power module, and connect a simple plug-in airline from the button to the power module. All in all, less than 3 minutes to install. Note that you do need to have an unused hole in your sink to mount it. If you wanted to wall-mount it, you'll need to come up with some mechanism to do so as there isn't any rough-in kit included to add the button to a 1-gang or 2-gang electrical box.
It's a little pricey, but if you're ok with the price you'll be very happy with the product.
