(More customer reviews)I love this kit. I am always in the kitchen with wet hands and hate turning my electric switch on with wet hands. My Jacuzzi has the same type switch and I figured i would try it. I installed by cutting into the sink top and mounted it without issue. This model has 2 outlets, one for the disposal and one for any other application. Make sure you plug your disposal into the correct switch or it will run non stop. When you engage the disposal it will automatically cut power to the other plug so I wouldn't plug in anything with a clock or anything you may want to run at the same time.

(More customer reviews)There really isn't much to say about this strainer. It sits in the sink and keeps water going down the drain when you want it to, and keeps it in the sink when you want it to. We recently remodeled our kitchen and went with all Kohler parts for the sink area (sink, faucet, strainer, disposal flange, vent/dishwasher drain). This matches perfectly with the rest of our polished chrome Kohler products.
My only complaint with it, is that it does scratch rather easily. I was washing a dish with the rough side of a sponge and it scratched the finish ever so slightly. I know I shouldn't expect a polished finish to stay perfect forever, but it certainly didn't last as long as I had hoped.

It works great, and is as simple as: Screw the button into an unused hole in your sink, plug the power module into a standard outlet for your disposal, plug the disposal into the power module, and connect a simple plug-in airline from the button to the power module. All in all, less than 3 minutes to install. Note that you do need to have an unused hole in your sink to mount it. If you wanted to wall-mount it, you'll need to come up with some mechanism to do so as there isn't any rough-in kit included to add the button to a 1-gang or 2-gang electrical box.
It's a little pricey, but if you're ok with the price you'll be very happy with the product.
