(More customer reviews)This is a solid lamp with a sturdy build. Installation was simple.
The base is relatively heavy and will support 'hard' angles of twist from the three movable areas. However, I do not like where the I/O switch is located; it is a separate controller unit on the power line, as opposed to on the actual lamp.
There are 3 LED's with good table coverage. It lights up my work desk (say, a surface area of ~10 square feet) well.
For those looking for a warmer glow, there is a slight caveat (a preference issue). This LED lamp emits a white glow vis-a-vis the warm yellow glow from traditional halogens. Some may find the whiteness jarring for the eyes. I personally do not mind. As such I am perfectly happy with the product.
I chose this lamp for its price and looks, but was surprised to find good illumination coverage.

5 Way Osram Led Clamp On Lamp Review

(More customer reviews)i was looking for something that would replace my regular reading lamp that i use with my computer. my regular lamp has a 40 watt incandescent bulb which does a nice job of providing the basic illumination i need for my keyboard and any written material i am using. this lamp throws a much more focused very white with green tinge light typical of an LED type lamp. since this lamp is expensive i was optimistic that i would be getting perhaps one of the newer and brighter LED lamps perhaps with the color compensation. i will say the product appears to be one of the better quality china made products but the light aspect is lacking. it might be good for a workbench where you need a focused light for some project but it will not replace a regular desk lamp.

The bulb/socket is very cheaply made - the bulb will fall out if you bump the lamp. Had to wiggle the bulb just right to get it to make electrical contact and light up. Why couldn't they have just used a standard screw-in bulb/socket??? Returned this item immediately after trying to use it.

HOWEVER...I also purchased it because the description indicated it had an antique brass finish and that's what I needed to match the room's decor. The box did indicate the lamp was antique brass BUT the lamp inside had a chrome finish. NOT what I wanted.
