Able to adjust so it closes lightly with no worries of tails or fingers getting slammed in the door.

.R. LAURENCE KC61US CRL Satin Chrome Spring Door Closer. The CRL Safety Door Closer is both powerful and versital. This closer is designed for use on both left or right handed inswinging doors. Made with a die cast body, and having twin torsion springs, this closer will work on doors weighing up to 150 pounds (68 kg). Simply mount the closer body to the jamb of the door, and use the longer closer bar and shorter adjuster bar to wind the barrel to the desired strength. Thread the long bar into one of the holes in the barrel and allow this bar to lay against the door face. Lay the plastic anti-scratch cradle underneath the bar and afix to the door with a single screw.

(More customer reviews)This items works as promised. I installed it myself, and I'm not particularly handy. I pulled out the door's hinge pin, slipped on the Hinge Pin Door Stop, and re-inserted the pin. I think I might have spent 5 minutes doing this job--very satisfying to get something done so quickly and have to work so well.
It is ridiculously easy to adjust the twisty part of the door stop to set the door to open exactly as far as I want it to go without allowing it to slam into the new Ikea wardrobe I just put behind my bedroom door.
