(More customer reviews)This is a fairly well made door stop that keeps the door open, yet releases the door without much effort. The circular base is a bit large in diameter, so if you have a very short baseboard it may be difficult to mount the base to the baseboard. The finish is generally good. Also, the short part (which I mounted to the door) is spring-loaded to buffer the initial contact with the base.

(More customer reviews)Can not be better. Very solid, Very strong magnetic. The only concern is that it is difficult to level both pieces when install. The magnetic is weak if both pieces are not well leveled. I tried again and again for the first one, and made many holes on the door.

(More customer reviews)It's an inch longer than the doorstops you can buy at Home Depot or Loew's, but if you need an extra long stop, this will work just fine. The item is durable and well designed, the finish is as advertised, and I have been using it to keep my door open, even in the face of 40 mile an hour gusts of wind. One nice little feature is that it is affixed to the door with four screw holes, whereas most of the flimsier ones at the mass hardware store use a triangular backplate at the hinge, allowing only for a three hole installation. Not much more to be said.

(More customer reviews)This items works as promised. I installed it myself, and I'm not particularly handy. I pulled out the door's hinge pin, slipped on the Hinge Pin Door Stop, and re-inserted the pin. I think I might have spent 5 minutes doing this job--very satisfying to get something done so quickly and have to work so well.
It is ridiculously easy to adjust the twisty part of the door stop to set the door to open exactly as far as I want it to go without allowing it to slam into the new Ikea wardrobe I just put behind my bedroom door.
