(More customer reviews)I had to go online to find a 30" bar for our bathroom, and was a little leary ordering these online sight unseen, but they are wonderful. Very nice quality - not cheapy, like most. Good color - true to the image. Fairly easy to install (i.e. only limited cursing from my hubby ;). Highly recommended. We got two towel rings and the towel hook to match, and they all look fantastic in our formerly gold trimmed master bath. And not made in China for a change! (Portugal).

Moen DN1086CH Reed Towel Ring, Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)I tried installing this just now, and I nearly gave up. My problem was the instructions didn't mention that the metal mounting bracket should be facing such that the "Up" engraving is visible. I played around with it for a while, and as I was uninstalling everything, it occurred to me to flip the metal bracket the other direction, and it worked. Unfortunately it is now wobbly because I loosened things up too much as I tried to install it. Moen: please test your instructions with normal users first. It is really cheap to include extra diagrams showing what things ought to look like. (This goes for basically all product companies...)

Moen DN6708CH Danbury Paper Holder, Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased several Moen fixtures for a new bathroom: towel bars, hooks, towel ring, etc. all in the oil rubbed bronze finish to match other fixtures. These are the first Moen towel bars and related items I have purchased and installed. Previous experience with other name brands has left me skeptical about the mounting design and ease of instllation... but these Moen products were a very pleasant surprise!
As most bathroom hardware does these days, Moen incorporates small set screws in their design - but in a much better way than others I have installed. The set screw is easy to set and adjust, and holds once set! Unlike others, these fixtures are not loose or wobbly after installation. Additionally, the wall mount hardware is made very well - much better than others. Very sturdy and well designed - it is made so that you only have one correct way to mount it, and the portion of the wall mount that holds the visible fixture is very sturdy and remains square!
I take away one star for the very thin material used in the paper holder arm... the unit is adequate, but feels very light and flimsy compared to the rest of the hardware... a few more thousands of an inch thickness would have been nice.

(More customer reviews)This towel ring looks just as I thought it would, is sturdy enough to hold our large heavy bath sheets no problem at all. Installation was easy enough, they provide the template, screws, wall anchors and allen wrench for the set screw. Required a drill, phillips head screw driver and hammer to "persuade" the wall anchor to go all the way in. I installed one of these with the hook opening on the left but then realized that the set screw was visible under the mounting ring area. So I installed others with hook opening facing right to have the set screw above out of view of most except the tallest people. Just something you might think about before installing.
I like the opening in the ring to get the towel out instead of dragging it through the ring. Not that this isn't sturdy enough to pull the towel through, but the opening was one of the features I was looking for in this towel holder.
Overall very happy with this purchase.

Within 2 weeks, the chrome started to peel of of the large towel ring. Amazon had me a new one within a few days. Hopefully, this one won't peel and we just were unlucky with the first one. I will update in a few months. Great price as always.

(More customer reviews)I was shocked at how heavy--and how stunning--this towel ring was when I lifted it out of its packing. Its heft and character remind me of an antique. No exaggeration, it's as pretty as an art object. I didn't know whether to put a towel on it or display it in a gallery.
But make sure you mount it with the accompanying anchors--this is not metal coating on plastic! Solid metal that will need support. Superior product!
