(More customer reviews)The finish and quality of the drain itself is very good, but I have two issues with it, one specific to my sink, and the second an issue of the quality of the basket. First, I have a granite farmhouse sink that is fairly thick, probably, I guess, thicker than most farmhouse sinks. The throat on this drain was not long enough to allow me to install the rubber gasket between the sink and the threaded washer. I had to leave the gasket out, and just use a lot of silicone to prevent any leaks. You would think they could just make these things a centimeter longer to accommodate the possibility of a thicker sink material. Anyways, that is specific to my situation, and may not affect you. Second, the strainer basket feels kind of cheap, like I could crush it with my hand, or definitely if if I stepped on it. I don't recall ever seeing a strainer basket that felt as flimsy as this one. If you can get past these issues, the drain functions well and looks good.
