We were surprised that this was plastic. Since our shower surround is fiberglass, it kind of wobbles. We don't put any weight on it.
But I'm sure the wobbling is because of the chinzy fiberglass shower surround. The shower remodel is years away and we like the matching handshower so much we put up with it.
