I ordered one of these and installed it in my wife's bathroom. It is very high quality. Made in Germany, NOT China. It works very well with a very precision valve. It looks great and has a very luxurious feel. I highly recommend it.

GROHE SilkMove Technology: Feel the difference When it comes to smooth operation, GROHE faucets are a cut above the rest. The unique cartridges are manufactured in GROHE factories from an advanced ceramic alloy and coated with a special Teflon lubricant for near friction-free operation. As a result, GROHE SilkMove technology ensures a lifetime of maintenance-free comfort and reliability. Beyond easy one-finger control, however, GROHE cartridges also feature an extra wide operating angle, or "comfort zone," which means that precise temperature adjustment from hot to warm to cold is an effortless, gradual and safe process.
GROHE SilkMove is an interactive sensation which you will experience day after day for the lifetime of your faucet. The cartridge is the nerve center of every faucet and where the ceramic discs are located. The lever handle of the faucet is connected to the discs by a shaft - GROHE uses solid brass for strength and durability. As the discs move over each other, they either block the water or allow it to pass through. Therefore the quality and machining of these parts will affect the performance of your faucet.
GROHE is one of the world's leading faucet manufacturers and one of the few that manufacture their own cartridges. Its cartridges are manufactured in a high-tech vacuum process and feature discs made from a space-proven ceramic alloy. The polished mirror-like surface of the discs is then coated with a special Teflon lubricant for frictionless operation.
And because its faucets are designed with stand years of use, GROHE incorporates micro-chambers of this lubricant within the cartridge - for a lifetime of maintenance-free operation. As a result of this state-of-the art technology, its faucets have an extra-wide operating angle, allowing you to exactly manage the water flow and temperature. Like all GROHE technologies, GROHE SilkMove is yet another perfect example of design and technology working in harmony to give you an enhanced water experience.

Case Cutlery 031 Case Slimline Trapper Pocket Knife with Chrome Vanadium Blade, Yellow Synthetic Review

Case Cutlery 031 Case Slimline Trapper Pocket Knife with Chrome Vanadium Blade, Yellow Synthetic

I have had this knife for about 8 months now. Bought it for $25 and I must say this is by far the best knife I have ever bought at this price range. I have collected pocket knives since I was a kid and, until recently, always just bought the $25 and under knives.... all of which were cheaply made, poor material quality, and all around junk. So I went into the knife shop and told the clerk I was looking for a REAL knife, something that would last and was built to actually work. I told him I was willingly to bump my price range up higher than usual and he told me this was not necessary. He then walked over to the Case display and pulled out this particular model and a couple others. He told me they were all under $30 and would live to see my grand children if used properly. I chose this model because the contour lines of the handle are really aesthetically appealing and super comfortable both in my pocket and in my hand...also because the blade is a perfect size and shape for an all around utility knife in my studio. When I got home with the knife I was immediately impressed at how sharp it was.... I'm talking shaving sharp. After a month or so of use the blade was getting a bit dull, as expected, so I sharpened it again. I was really surprised at how incredibly easily this blade took an edge after just a handful of passes on the crock sticks. It literally took just a minute or so to get this knife sharp enough again to shave with. My only concern with this knife was the durability of the synthetic handle material... so far I have been very impressed. I've dropped the knife multiple times on rock, concrete, and asphalt and there are no dings or scratches beyond just tiny micro scratches that come normally with wear.
If you are ever looking for a reliable, quality, long lasting knife that isn't going to clean your wallet then BUY THIS KNIFE. Now it is not a big knife so I would not recommend it for big jobs like chopping or cutting large pieces of wood but it has served me well sharpening pencils and charcoal, cutting paper and fishing line, opening various packaging, cutting string etc. Overall an amazing product, well built, super comfortable, VERY sharp!

High build quality, no light shining thru the scales. Case has gotten their quality back up to par, and being a CV knife, this is a "user" knife.

My first sodbuster was the large model, about 30 years ago. It was a little large for my pocket, but what I like about these knives is the fact that the steel can take a seriously sharp edge. As a woodworker a steels ability to sharpen well is more important then how long it will keep the edge. Case has picked the right steel for my use. I use the Sodbuster Jr. now. I have two of them; one of which I custom ground for woodworking in tight spots. They last forever.

Reminds me of long ago when you had to struggle to find inferior U.S. made products. Case knives are well made and an excellent bargain considering their cost to value. I'm not a collector but many people do collect Case knives. I just needed a well made folder that is pleasing to my eye. The market is literally flooded with cheap knives made with substandard materials and methods that can't be relied upon and in some instances could be dangerous to use. A knife is a tool to me, and only the wealthy can consider buying inferior tools. They are likely to do unexpected damage resulting in additional time and cost necessary to the task attempted. In this case I bought the best tool for the task. A word of advice, never mistake a knife for anything it wasn't made to be, such as a screwdriver or pry bar. Case will sell you a fine quality knife that holds a good edge and works as a knife should. The buyer must supply common sense.
