(More customer reviews)I was a victim of the Brita "Drink Responsibly" advertising campaign (summer 2008) and I bought the pitcher before I read the reviews here. Reading these (1 star) reviews allowed me to look for the problems described and I have not experienced them. I did not note a leaky top, although this may have been because I was being careful thanks to K.M. aka Squishy's review. I was more concerned about the spout cover problem which I read in a couple of reviews, but I discovered (no pun intended)that the spout cover "floats," that is if you just pour the pitcher the cover lifts and water comes out. Mine did not leak. (this may be a redesign since the old reviews). I was perfectly able to pour water with one had into a glass sitting on the counter (didn't have to hold the glass either) with no leaks.
Amazon defines 4-stars as "I like it" which I do. It ain't a cure for cancer. It's a water pitcher and mine seems to work fine.

Zuvo ZBF10C Butler Faucet Kit, Chrome Finish Review

(More customer reviews)This butler kit is designed for the Zuvo water "purlator". It looks quite stylish, and the handle can be held down for a burst of water, or lifted up, where it locks in place until you push it down, thus providing continuous water flow.
The only issue I have is that when you let go of the handle, the water gradually dribbles to a stop, rather than shutting completely down instantly. I find this a bit frustrating, in that I will either be wasting water or my time. That is why I gave it four instead of five stars.
This kit is needed if you have the kind of faucet which is removable; ours has a spray head on a flexible hose instead of a fixed faucet. Hence my need for this device.
I would suggest professional installation, especially if you have to drill a hole in the sink, which was required in my situation. I also had the plumber drill a hole in the counter, so that I could have the Zuvo above the sink rather than under the sink in the (included) bracket.

Brita Riviera Water Pitcher Review

I purchased a fairly expensive two-stage filtration system that mounted under the sink thinking this would be the greatest tasting water ever. I was wrong. The water still had a metallic taste. When I tried a Brita Pitcher I was extremely impressed. They are the only company that uses silver oxide pellets in the filter, which act as a water softener and work well with hard CA water. I've since moved to GA where the water is much softer, but these filters make such a noticable difference it is incredible. If you change the filter every 5 weeks or so you will be very happy with the results. I've been using the same pitcher for about 7 years now and it is still in great shape.
