Slime 10008 Tire Sealant - 24 oz. Review

TIRE SEALER SLIME 32oz. Was very hard to put in until I realized it had been outside in the cold. Put it in under hot water in the sink for 10 min and it was much easier to squeeze in. The combo cap/valve stem removal tool is a good idea.
One criticism -- bottles need a clear stripe down the side with ounce graduations. It's not an exact science, but you need to have an idea of the volume when filling a small tire from a big bottle.
Hint -- Calculator and table for volume needed will work with the dimensions that are part of the tire type stamped on the side of the tire. Useful if you forgot to grab a ruler before walking out to the barn, plus they are more accurate. For example, my rear tractor tires are type 9.50x22-12. The 1st # is width in inches, 2nd is overall dia., and 3rd is wheel sixe (you do not need that). Be sure to use inches or centimeters consistantly. The numbers on the tire are the max dimnsions so you'll be sure to get enough.
A month later and no leaks. Before I had one I had to pump up every time I used it and the rest every 2 - 3 weeks.

Slime Bucket Tubeless Sealant with Pump - 1 Gallon Jug Review

Slime Bucket Tubeless Sealant with Pump - 1 Gallon Jug

I have always used Slime in tires on Mountain Bikes, Lawn Mowers, and ATVs.
Now that I live and work in a less than civilized environment, I have found that it works incredibly well in truck tires. I've gone from having at least one flat a week to having no flats in months!
Also, the gallon jug with pump makes it soooo easy to measure and install.
I purchased mine from the Amazon seller "Warehouse Deals, Inc" at a substantial savings.
Check them out.

Slime Tubeless Tire Sealant prevents and repairs flats in tubeless tires caused by punctures up to a quarter-inch. Non-flammable and non-toxic, this sealant utilizes a unique blend of fibers and clotting agents that seal instantly. Slime works repeatedly -- when a puncture occurs, the escaping air forces Slime with FibroSeal technology in the puncture wound to seal the puncture. This product is virtually mess-free, cleans up with water, and lasts for up to two years.
