(More customer reviews)I ordered this item for my baby's room. I am very pregnant and my husband is now in Iraq. At the time he wasnt but the light fixture arrived broken. I didnt think much about it, figured I could just get a hold of amazon.com and see when they could get a replacement to me. They patched me through to someone at PearleKids. The woman was very short tempered and seemed annoyed, as if they've never had someone call because of broken glass. She asked what was wrong with the item and I told her but that wasn't good enough. She still had me fax her a piece of paper with whats broken written on it... ummm ok? Any ways after 2 weeks I still hadn't heard from anyone. I called and spoke with someone, she was very nice and very helpful. Exactly one day after I called I received an email from PearleKids letting me know that my replacement had shipped and they weren't going to charge me for the replacement piece of glass... what? Thanks, I guess. I received it today, unbroken but very different looking. I paid $[...] and I now have to remove the hardware and electricial stuff from the broken glass and put it on the replacement. So what did I pay so much for? Horrible customer service, a broken biplane, and hardware I had to put on myself. Thanks but no thanks. Its a nice light, but I would never order anything from PearleKids again.
