(More customer reviews)This is a good, compact brushed nickel chandelier. I use it above my small dining table, and it works well. It measures about 19" in diameter and a little over a foot tall. 12' of chain is included -- I used pliers to unlink about 1.5' of chain, as I used it on a low (8') ceiling.
The directions weren't great, and mostly relied on pictures. However, if you're familiar with light fixtures, you shouldn't have a problem hardwiring it into an existing electrical box. Just screw in the crossbar (included), connect the two wires from the chandelier to those from the electrical box, attach wire caps (not included), and voila! The hardwire canopy (the domed piece that covers the wiring) is included, and screwed in nice and flush with the ceiling.
The arms look a bit sparse, but I liked the simple style of the fixture, and it fit well with my apartment's vintage-modern furniture and decor. Each arm accommodates one 60W max size B chandelier bulb. Multiply that by 5, and you've got lots of light.
Also, the actual fixture is not as silver as it looks in the picture. It's a true, matte, brushed nickel. I've uploaded a picture that shows the color a bit better.
