(More customer reviews)I bought this showerhead (at a great price at Bed, Bath, and Beyond) after the hose on our Interbath handheld developed a pinhead leak. I probably could have replaced the hose, but I was never happy with the power of the Interbath's spray (having had a Waterpik before). I originally planned to go with a Waterpik again, but the reviews here indicate they aren't what they once were. I wanted brushed nickel, and I liked the looks of this one from Moen, so I thought I would take a chance. Very glad I did.
The Moen showerhead and hose are colored plastic like the Waterpiks.The bracket that holds the showerhead is deep and fits well; there is no danger the showerhead will fall out like is reported with some of the Waterpiks. The bracket is metal and plastic - the metal end connects to the shower stem. I managed to scratch the metal a little even with tape on my pliers (I should have used more tape), but it's not noticeable.
The Moen has 7 spray settings and at its more powerful settings gives us a good, strong spray just short of stinging (watch those sensitive areas though). There is no pulsing setting (there wasn't one on our Interbath either), but that's not a setting we ever used on our Waterpik. The wide sprays are strong and the narrow sprays are stronger. There are a couple of softer settings.
The hose is the 5-foot length that comes on most handhelds now. I suppose that is so the head won't slam on the bottom of the tub if dropped, or submerge in tub water and cause backflow problems. Directions are sparse, but adequate. A small roll of Teflon tape is included in the package.
All in all, especially considering the price I paid, I rate this as a 5-star showerhead.

Update 6/30/09: After reviewing this, I received the August 2009 Consumer Reports and this showerhead was listed as number 1 in the ratings.
