(More customer reviews)The metal parts are quite substantial and well finished. The glass shades are also substantial. You can't see it in the photo, but the glass extends under the shade so the bulb is not visible from below. The 5 bulbs are included, although the description suggests otherwise. The chain is very sturdy and is really 141" long (I used only 8"). I had to use a vice to open the chain links, but most men could do it with 2 pairs of pliers as the instructions recommend. It wasn't hard to close the links with a pair of pliers.
I had hoped to use it with a dimmer, but couldn't find dimmable GU24 bulbs as small a 13w, the maximum recommended. It's working out just fine w/o the dimmer.
