(More customer reviews)I use K&N oil filters on my Honda S2000. The filter comes off the side of the motor, and the the K&N have a 1" nut welded to the end. Not a lot of room for a socket and ratchet for removal, so this is the right tool for the job. Gearwrench tools have a high polish, nice ratcheting mechanism, and feel good in the hand. This particular model does not have an angled ratchet end, or a reversing lever. Just straight, and you flip it over for reverse. That works better in this application, and is cheaper to boot. Ratcheting mechanism takes very little angular movement to "click", so you don't need a lot of room to swing the wrench.

GearWrench 's small ratcheting box end allows access to tight spots where a ratchet and socket or a conventional ratcheting box end will not fit. The GearWrench moves a fastener along any length threaded rod without ever having to remove the wrench from the fastener. Surface Drive box end virtually eliminates the rounding of fasteners.
