(More customer reviews)I ordered two of these lamps. The shade is not white as shown in the picture, but blue. Both shades were damaged in shipping. I wanted white shades so I thought I would not worry about sending the lamps back and just buy new shades. Unfortunately I can't find a shade that works since the lamp does not have a spider assembly. It's non-standard. The lamp itself is nice enough.
UPDATE: This company tried really hard to rectify the situation. They contacted me following this post and shipped out new shades--three times. Each time the shades where damaged in shipping. I finally gave up. I know they are really trying hard to improve their shipping. I give them a lot of credit for being responsive and trying to set things right. I am sure the shipping will catch up with their customer service very soon...
