(More customer reviews)This was PERFECT! I could not find double duplex plates at my local stores except white plastic and I wanted to match the shiny chrome fixtures and hardware in my bathroom. I wanted it to be completely plain but settled for this with the raised edges and it is plain enough and contemporary looking.
I was not sure what polished chrome meant, I have seen things that are called polished but they have more of a satin finish and I wanted it to be shiny. This is shiny and the pkg says 'bright chrome' which I think is a better description than 'polished chrome'. This is slightly larger than a standard wall cover so if your outlet is close to a wall or molding make sure it will fit. For me it helped cover some damage around the outlet box so i am thrilled!
It is seriously heavy duty though and has a nice solid feel. very happy w/ it!
