(More customer reviews)These are not cheaply made switch plates. I was concerned that for the low price, it would be plastic painted in chrome. This plate weighs about 3 pounds, and the chrome is solid alloy and looks to be hand polished by a journeyman craftsman.
The white backing feels like porcelain, and matches the quality of the solid chrome border. These are, in my opinion, worth 3 or 4 times what i paid.
They go great with the Franklin Brass Polished Chrome and White Towel Bar and Toilet Paper Roller.
