(More customer reviews)Reminds me of long ago when you had to struggle to find inferior U.S. made products. Case knives are well made and an excellent bargain considering their cost to value. I'm not a collector but many people do collect Case knives. I just needed a well made folder that is pleasing to my eye. The market is literally flooded with cheap knives made with substandard materials and methods that can't be relied upon and in some instances could be dangerous to use. A knife is a tool to me, and only the wealthy can consider buying inferior tools. They are likely to do unexpected damage resulting in additional time and cost necessary to the task attempted. In this case I bought the best tool for the task. A word of advice, never mistake a knife for anything it wasn't made to be, such as a screwdriver or pry bar. Case will sell you a fine quality knife that holds a good edge and works as a knife should. The buyer must supply common sense.
