I've used the other gloves like Iron Clad, CLC and Ringers, but Mechanix fits the best. I never had to take the gloves off, not even once, when pulling an engine out of a car. I could feel everything. A++++++ Highly recommended

Mechanix Wear MFF-02-011 Fast Fit Gloves, Red, XL Review

(More customer reviews)I was going to buy the velcro version of these but thought I would try the fast fit gloves as they were cheaper. Im glad I did they fit really snug and stay on really well. They were well worth the price and I think were a better deal than the velcro ones. Made out of good materials and really stand up to some rough work. They also allow you to work with smaller objects unlike some work gloves.

(More customer reviews)I have owned a few different brands of the "Mechanics Gloves" . The Mechanix Wear M-Pact 2 model is by far the best pair I've used . They beat the Iron Clad and Craftsmen gloves by a long shot . The extra protection on the back (knuckle and back hand) is why I prefer these gloves . When a wrench slips off and you bang the back of your hand , you're protected from cuts and bruises . The heat resistance is nice also . I work in one of the busiest Sports arenas in the USA , these gloves last me about 1-1/2 years of serious abuse . Worth every penny at $29.99 a pair .

(More customer reviews)I wear these gloves for work, where I am constantly digging with a shovel, pick, or bar and they are outstanding. They endure as long as any good pair of work gloves should. I also use them to operate heavy equipment which requires dexterity from a glove and they perform well there as well. More interestingly however is that I wear them skydiving. While skydiving it is necessary to use a glove that allows you to feel so that you can find your hacky used to deploy your main parachute... and if necessary so that you may feel your emergency handles. It is also desired to have somewhat of a sticky texture for the very same reason, as well as to maintain a good grip on other skydivers when doing "relative work". Despite the fact that these are "fast fit" they do not come off in the air, though they do allow me to remove them quickly if necessary. I have recently been jumping in cold weather as well. I add silk liners when jumping in cold weather but they are the only gloves I can use with the liners and still maintain very good dexterity and feel, and are plenty warm when combined with the liners.
