(More customer reviews)Purchased these in brushed nickel for two baths we are updating. At first, I was not crazy about the design, but there is an extremely limited selection in a contemporary brushed nickel trim that would fit our existing Moen Moentrol Pressure balancing valve. (This will NOT work with Moen posi-temp valves). We did not want to install a new valve. For us this would mean calling in plumber and a lot more expense. Now that the trims are installed, I am really pleased. They are heavy duty with a nice finish, and help give the bath an updated contemporary look that works well with other new fixtures. One caveat, because this is a heavy duty product (much thicker guage than the very old trim it replaced), it is not very flexible. If your wall tiles are not perfectly even and this needs to be installed over an area where tiles meet, it may not fit perfectly flat against the tile througout the entire diameter of the trim. My husband solved this easily with a very thin, very neat bead of silicone caulk in the color of the tiles. Virtualy invisible and does the job nicely. Moen makes a bath faucet and other items to match. FYI, we purchased Kohler Forte Sculptered aucets (the contemporary model) in the nickel finish and they work great with this valve trim and cost less than the Moen faucets.
