(More customer reviews)First I was disappointed in the wood quality. I expected and wanted knotty pine, but what I got was a big wad of putty where a knot had fallen out. It was smoothy and coated but it doesn't look very good. Also it was the piano finish and I thought it would be a matt finish. It also had a small deep scratch on it. It didn't sit right on the toilet and the seat would slip and one of the little plastic things broke off and we glued it back on. I was hoping for a better seat than I could get at Lowe's or Home Depot. I suppose I should have returned it, but didn't want the hassle and decided it would work even though I wasn't happy.
