(More customer reviews)I live in a tiny Manhattan apartment with basically one closet. This device literally saved me from having to weed through my closet and give my clothes away to goodwill.
It manages to double up the space in your closet and allow you so much more room to "breath" -- allowing you to get all the clothes into a limited space.
I put my blazers and dresses on the top rail, and then on the hanging part, I put all my skirts.
It's efficient and nicely designed and worked wonders with my cramped closet space.
It's great!

(More customer reviews)I bought this extra rod to enable my daughter to hang up and access her own clothes, and I'm pleased with the quality, adjustability, and simplicity of design. The assembly was pretty easy, although one clarification for other buyers that's not mentioned in the instructions: The openings on both ends of the horizontal rod are slightly tapered. It will slide onto the vertical rods either way, but make sure to slide the horizontal rod on with the narrower end of the tapers up. That way, when you back the rod down over the black plastic stoppers, the wider tapered ends will cover the stoppers well. (This will make a lot more sense when you start putting the thing together).

For years we've been having trouble with other closet doubler rods, they were always hard to keep in place and only had one length on it which was hard to decide whose clothes went on top and bottom because it always dragged someone's clothes.
With this Adjustable Closet Doubler, it has saved our wardrobe. My daughters clothes go on top and I have the rod just below them, giving my clothes room to hang. Now, they don't slide around on the floor and get dusty or wrinkly. This product has just been a lifesaver! And it was so easy to put together, I thought that it was almost too easy! : )
I recommend it anyone who is wanting more space in their closet but with low cost!
