I been going to the doctors for past two years because of my hemorroids would bleed blood into the toilet when I was taking a dump. The doctor told me I might be straining to much,but I did not think I did. With the Bidet toilet device the problem was solved! When I turn the water spray on for 15 to 20 seconds it starts a bowel movement automatically. No blood in the toilet and I also feel they are finally healing! My butt feels way cleaner and more sanitize compared to normal toilet paper wipes. I move into the 20th century with this device! Thank-you very much! Paul

Bidet BB-50: Hand-held bidet with room temperature water and adjustable pressure Review

(More customer reviews)I went over quite a few products when I wanted to buy a hand-held bidet. This one seemed the most complete and cheaper than the rest. The absence of reviews did concern me, but thought of taking a chance.
The shipping etc was prompt. I was a little upset to see many parts of the bidet made out of plastic (coated with the stainless steel paint). But the crucial parts ( i think the valve, the bidet itself) were made of steel and were solid. The connecting pipe, the trigger thingie on the bidet head etc were plastic.
Before you start installing, please please make sure you drain ALL the water in your toilet's water tank. Flushing it completely won't work - there is more water below the flush level and you don't want your bathroom to be flooded with that residual water when you remove the base of the water tank.
The instructions were quite clear in the packaging. Don't forget to put in the rubber washer, which is in the parts pouch along with the wall-mount and screws. It installed relatively easily and hasn't leaked at all.
The water pressure is well controlled and of course, no heated water. But overall it is a very good purchase.

(More customer reviews)Yes, it's cheaper, has both hot and cold water hook-ups, has a better looking toggle valve, and doesn't leak. But, the universal bracket didn't fit my American Standard toilet. I had to order their shorter two piece toilet bracket to install it. The swing arm doesn't drop down far enough to fit under the rim. The spray nozzle holes are in a straight line so the water spray hurts like a cheap motel shower spray. And the worst yet is the hair trigger toggle valve. Being sideways the valve body doesn't show which way is off so if you turn the handle the wrong direction you will get a full blast which can seriously hurt yourself. It looks nice but over engineered. After continious complaints from the wife, I replaced it with the simplier, better designed Bidematic.

Alsons 466BBX Bidet Single Spray Hand Shower, White/Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)If you're contemplating this item, please keep in mind that for the price all you're getting is the shower piece shown. No hose, no wall bracket, nothing but the handheld "shower head" and a flow control - which is only on or off, no in between. Further, there is no way to increase the pressure...the water flows out fine, but pressure is not there. The manufacturers site claims "Narrow spray" but there is no spray..it's a flow. One other thing..the handle part is loose...sorta like a giant bead was put on - so it spins and make is unwieldy. My husband glued it, which fixed that problem.
On the plus side, it's helping me post surgery and is better then nothing.
