(More customer reviews)This is a nice Fixture and was easy to install on my acrylic whirlpool bath that is front center mounted. I would recommend this item, but there is a problem with the way the spout attaches to the adapter. Basically you put this nice brass adapter on the brass tube coming out of your tub which is fasten flush with the tub basin with a Allen type of screw. The adapter has a recessed notch in it that will be used to line up the spout and secure with another Allen screw. So when you put the spout on there is an echelon with a half cut circle in it so you can get to the fastening Allen screw. Well all goes smoothly until you notice that the echelon resting on the adapter is very loose and can easily spin around. When walking up to the tub you immediately notice that there is an Allen screw visible and should have had some plug like my old meon unit had. Also the notch in the echelon will never line up with the Allen screw since it can spin easily and be anywhere in the 360 degree circle. They should have put a plug in so it would cover up the screw and also stop the echelon from spinning. I called American Standard and they agreed I installed it correctly, but they suggested I get a washer locally to put pressure between the adapter and echelon . I asked if they had that adapter for me and they told me no and it was my problem. Although I have been very happy with AS support in the past, this was a disappointing response. So if you don't mind a spinning echelon you will love this and if that bothers you then I wouldn't buy this unit.
